It looks exactly like the picture, color, and pattern wise which is nice. I’d rather have something look beautiful to contain visitors’ cigarette butts and ashes than the industrial-looking ash-try situation. This is for home use out on the front porch so when our guests aren’t out there smoking it looks like a really pretty ceramic decor item. it doesn’t have any crazy ridges or tight spaces so cleaning it out is simple (I got the larger size).
